The New Syd & Marianne Levy Service Center

This past January, we moved into our new administrative offices at the corner of E. Colonial Drive and N. Magnolia Ave., thanks to the tremendous generosity and support of our friends, Syd & Marianne Levy. Their amazing contribution enabled us to purchase our own building which now houses over 25 corporate staff members and now showcases a brand presence in downtown Orlando that will surely bring attention to our mission and overall movement.

THANK YOU to the Levy family, our long-time friends and supporters, for all that they do for our organization and the children we serve each year! Stay tuned for more updates on our new Service Center!

Our 2011 Southeast Region Youth of the Year
Meets President Obama!

Ahkeem Hollimon is only the second regional Youth of the Year winner from our organization in our over 65-year history. This Fall, Ahkeem travelled to Washington, D.C., for the National Youth of the Year competition. While there, he visited the White House, met with President Obama in the Oval Office and attended a congressional breakfast.

This is a proud moment in the life of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida and for our dedicated and driven Club member.

New Joe R. Lee Branch Opens in Eatonville!

Darden’s Kim Lopdrup, Drew Madsen, Joe R. Lee (retired) and Clarence
Otis join Club members for the special grand opening on June 17.

Official tours of the new Joe R. Lee Branch, guided by Club members,
began after the official ribbon cutting ceremony.

Disney Dream Benefit Cruise a True Success!

Disney Cruise Line is Helping Dreams Come True for Boys & Girls Clubs members and their families. During a special sail-away ceremony held on January 21, Disney Cruise Line leaders, led by President Karl Holz, presented Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida with a check for $750,000 to kick off a two-night “Benefit Preview Cruise” aboard the new Disney Dream.THANK YOU to all of our friends at Disney Cruise Line for making an impact in the lives of our families!
