Full Time Positions:

Part Time Positions:
EDUCATION TUTOR, SES PROGRAM:Highly energetic and organized individuals needed to run a Supplemental Education Services (SES) Tutoring program in seven (7) locations, including Seminole, Orange, Osceola and Brevard Counties.   The SES Tutor will be responsible for delivering small or large group guided instruction to students in reading and/or math with a provided curriculum.  Their duties for SES Tutors are:
- pre-testing students
- writing/creating student learning plans for district approval
- recording daily student progress
- following all policies and procedures of School District
- attending School Provider fairs as a representative of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida. Â
Tutors will work between the hours of 4:00-6:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday with no tutoring on major holidays and when students are out of school. Tutors will work between 1-2 hours per day depending on the amount of students taking part. Hours and days are subject to increase or decrease based on the number of students registered. Candidates should be flexible in scheduling.Â
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Require a State certification or licensure to teach any grades K-8. Certification in teaching reading/language arts or math is preferred. Active 3 year temporary contract teachers with experience.
- A minimum of 1 year classroom teaching or tutoring experience with some experience in working in Title I schools.
- ESE, ESOL and/or ELL preferred but not required
- Bilingual skills helpful for some locations (Spanish or Creole).
- Knowledge of some educational software and Microsoft office applications.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to write a clear and concise progress report.
- Ability to speak with parents about student progress
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record, and consistent access to a vehicle with appropriate insurance required.
SALARY:Â $25/hour with a State Teachers Certification

PROGRAM ASSISTANT (year-round):
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida is searching for a highly energetic and motivated individual to implement, supervise and evaluate activities provided in within a specific program area, such as Education, Special Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, and Physical Education. This position could be school year only or year round. Program Assistants are charged with creating an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes by promoting and stimulating program participation and providing guidance and role modeling to members. Monitor and evaluate programs, services and activities to ensure safety of members, quality in programs and appearance of the branch at all times. You may attend field trips and special events.SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or GED.
- One year minimum experience volunteering or working with children.
- Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth.
- Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.
- Recommended CPR and First Aid Certifications.
- Valid driver license and good driving record.
SALARY:Â $7.25-8.00/hr, Non-Exempt
POSITION TYPE: Hourly, non-exempt. Part-time - School year hours 10-20 hours/week and summer hours 35-40 hours/week.

Technology Program Assistant:
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida needs a highly energetic and organized individual to ensure delivery of a technology based program for children ages 6-18 at our Universal Orlando Foundation Branch.
The Technology Program Assistant will be responsible for implementing technology instruction and support all the while supervising activities in an assigned technology lab. This position is also responsible for maintenance and support of technology and audio visual equipment at the Club.  Â
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. BA in computer information systems or related field from an accredited college or university or four (4) years experience preferred.
- Experience working with diverse groups of children, particularly those at risk, in an educational environment.
- Computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office 2003, Windows, Publishing software. Web development and programming skills preferred.
- Experience with the Digital Arts Festival, Image Makers and Music Makers programs.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, high creativity and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues (hardware and software).
- Experience managing employees and coordinating or working with volunteers.
- Belief in the mission and purpose of the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record and access to a motor vehicle with appropriate insurance.
SALARY: $7.25 - 9.00/hr.
POSITION TYPE: Part-time, non-exempt, Hours may vary as the Club is open 1:00-9:00 p.m. during the school year and 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the summer. Attendance at some weekend events required.
