Our Southeast Region Youth of the YearÂ
Meets President Obama!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida is honored to introduce Ahkeem Hollimon, a six-year member from our Tupperware Brands Branch, as the 2011 Southeast Region Youth of the Year! Ahkeem competed amongst several Club members from across the region with official judging culminating June 23, 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia. Ahkeem is only the second regional Youth of the Year winner from our organization in our over 65-year history. This Fall, Ahkeem travelled to Washington, D.C., for the National Youth of the Year competition. While there, he visited the White House, met with President Obama in the Oval Office and attended a congressional breakfast.
This is a proud moment in the life of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida and for our dedicated and driven Club member. Congratulations, Ahkeem!
