21st Century Community Learning Centers

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida is a proud recipient of 21st Century Community Learning Center grants. These programs provide expanded academic enrichment opportunities for children after school. Our Joe R. Lee Branch also offers 21st Century summer programming. View a full description of the grants.

Time:2:30-5:30pm from Monday through Friday
Location: Hungerford Elementary School and Joe R. Lee Club
FREE HOT MEALS SERVED DAILY!
Summer school programming is FREE of charge for the entire summer.

FREE Enrichment and Academics ALL DAY

The target school for the Joe R. Lee Club is Hungerford Elementary School. If any local private schools are interested in the program, please contact Orange County Project Director Niketra Johnson at njohnson@bgccf.org.

 

Universal Orlando Foundation Branch 
Dates: August 22-May 31, 2017
Time:4:00-7:00pm  from Monday through Thursday 4:00-6:00pm on Friday
Location: Universal Orlando Foundation Branch
FREE HOT MEALS SERVED DAILY!
The target school for the Universal Orlando Foundation Branch are OCPS Eccelston, Orlo Vista, Eagles Nest and Washington Shores Elementary Schools.

 
Walt Disney World Club House
Dates: August 22-May 31, 2017
Time: 3:45-6:45pm  from Monday through Thursday 4:00-6:00pm on Friday
Location: Walt Disney World Clubhouse
FREE HOT MEALS SERVED DAILY!
The target school for the Walt Disney World Clubhouse are OCPS Mollie Ray, Rolling Hills and Ridgewood Park Elementary Schools.

Notice of Award: Joe R. Lee Branch

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida is pleased to announce that we have been awarded funding from the Florida Department of Education to create a 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) at our Joe R. Lee Boys & Girls Club in Eatonville. This 21st CCLC will offer academic and personal enrichment programming year-round, serving 120 at-risk youth who attend grades K-5 at Hungerford Elementary (Orange County Public Schools). Afterschool program services would be held on-site at Hungerford Elementary; vacation day, holiday and summer program services would be held on-site at the Joe R. Lee Boys & Girls Club.  A copy of our grant application is available for inspection on the 21stCCLC webpage of our agency website (www.bgccf.org) and at the Club facility for all interested.
