A Day of Caring with Heart of Florida United Way

Published on October 10, 2016 under Special Events

Volunteers from all over visited our Clubs for Heart of Florida United Way’s Day of Caring. This special day gives members of our community the opportunity to make a difference in our Club members lives through fun, interactive and educational activities.

Our Universal Branch had a blast designing tie dye shirts with Beta Alpha Psi, UPS and UCF Progressive Black Men hosted a game tournament at our Taft Branch, and our Joe R. Lee teens learned potential career opportunities and about college preparedness with Career Source at their college and career fair. TEK systems did crafts with our East Altamonte members and Disney Orchestrated a “Game Room Explosion” at the Tupperware Brands Club.

Thank you to Heart of Florida United Way, UPS & UCF Progressive Black Men, Career Source, TDP Church, First Generation UCF Students, TEK Systems, Beta Alpha Psi, Walt Disney World and all of the individuals who made Day of Action such a success for our organization. We are so grateful for all the volunteers that donated their time and resources to ensure our Club members are prepared for great futures!
