Orlando teen awarded surprise $100K scholarship from Beyoncé, Jay-Z

A Central Florida student got a surprise of a lifetime during Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s OTR II tour.

Keshawn Morgan was received a $100,000 scholarship from the couple during their stop in Orlando. Morgan is third in his class at Evans High School and is president of his class.

One Orlando high school student won’t have 99 problems when it comes to paying for his college tuition.

On Wednesday night, during Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s concert at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, DJ Khaled announced a $100,000 scholarship for Evans High School senior Keshawn Morgan through BeyGOOD and the Shawn Carter Foundation.

Evans student stunned after receiving $100K for college tuition from Beyonce, Jay-Z

Keshawn Morgan, a senior at Evans High School, had never been to a concert before. So he was thrilled Wednesday when his local Boys & Girls Club — where he’d been going since second grade — invited him to the Beyoncé and Jay-Z show that night.

But when DJ Khaled, who opened the show at Camping World Stadium, told the audience he had a surprise $100,000 college scholarship to announce, the 17-year-old didn’t think much about it at all.

A Community-Driven School Nears Opening Day In Parramore

ACE is a Community Partnership School under Orange County Public Schools and the first new school in Parramore in 50 years. After school, 300 students will also be the first to attend the on-site Boys and Girls Club. The organization says this will allow them to serve about four times more children in Parramore.
