Donor Advised Fund

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida does not sponsor or administer donor advised funds but is a qualified nonprofit to receive grants from Donor Advised Funds (DAF). Once you have created and funded a DAF through a reputable company or organization, you can designate Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida to receive grants any time of the year from your DAF.

Here are more details that might be helpful as you issue a DAF grant to Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida.

Don’t forget your DAF Beneficiary!

A Donor Advised Fund is a great charitable platform giving you tax deductions now and tax-free growth on our DAF funds for future giving. But realize, you should create a succession plan when you open your DAF by naming a successor to make future grant decisions for you (a spouse, child or other family member) OR designate how you wish the funds to be dispersed to charitable organizations you love. If no succession plan is in place for your DAF at your passing, your DAF can be diverted into charitable community accounts or trusts that you may not particularly support or endorse.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida does not provide tax, legal or financial advice. These materials have been prepared for informational purposes only, and are not intended to provide, and should not be relied on for tax, legal or financial advice. You should consult your own tax, legal and financial advisors before engaging in any transaction.
